Willow & Weave Remembers its Roots with the Evening Echo
We were delighted when our founder and owner, Brendan O’Sullivan, was approached by the Evening Echo for an interview. You can read the entire article, which recently appeared in the paper, in the PDF below.
During the interview, Brendan got the opportunity to look back over three decades and remember the beginnings of the business. He started at home making blinds with his grandfather’s sewing machine. Miriam, his wife, took over managing appointments. Together, the two shaped the business into what it is today.
Brendan and Miriam still run the show, but nothing else about the business resembles those early days. Their daughter Niamh has joined the team and brought an invaluable set of skills and talent as a certified interior designer. Our range has expanded from curtains and blinds to include plantation shutters, wall-panelling, wallpaper, wall art, flooring, carpets and a brand new range of rugs.
Actually, a few other things remain the same — we still approach every job with a custom-made mindset and the utmost level of care and attention, precedents Brendan and Miriam established from the start.
